Synonym: “Formation du Blanchâtre”; “Argilo-gréseux de Tchinezogue”


Lithology and Thickness

Argillaceous facies. Coquel et al. (1995) mention two Members for the Tchinezogue Fm. They are: “Unité Gris-Bleu” at the base and “Unité Blanchâtre” on top. Thickness is about 50 m.

Fossils

Lamellibranchs, lingules, brachiopods, bryozoans and polyps have been reported in the Tchinezogue Fm claystone.
